It’s this time of month again ;). I drew this dragon a long time ago, even before I heard of GRRM’s dragons with two legs instead of four… Enjoy!

A new piece of art, and a dragon! Very nice π

Thanks! I feel I’ll have to draw something new pretty soon π What happened to all the free time we had when we were young? π

You could take some nice photos of the miniatures, that’s also art π

I KNOW I’m going to sound really dumb, but Olag, are you female? I’d always assumed you were a guy because Olag ends with a hard consonant and while I’m not real up on my euro-names,it seemed masculine to me and because of your avatar, some grouchy looking old guy.
But I’ve never heard a guy make a joke about that particular thing and walk away from it.

*Jumps in* I totally thought OlaG was male for the same reasons you stated!

It’s Ola G, and I’m a girl – you got me π The grouchy looking old guy is actually Sam Vimes, my favorite character from Terry Pratchett’s books, drawn by Paul Kidby – and it’s more of a tribute and a commentary about how I feel as an amateur book critic than how I look π
But I think it’s more a culture- than gender-related thing – I had to think long and hard on what joke you’re referring to! π
I’ve got to ask, though – does it change anything? π

Not really, But it helps understanding you better. For instance, I wouldn’t expect balls and weiners jokes from you now. While the aforementioned “time of the month” wouldn’t make me bat an eyelash now.
And I hate to admit it, but I JUST noticed that your name is OlaG, not Olag.
Thank you for being so gracious about this all.

Don’t be so sure about balls jokes π And don’t sweat it, really – it’s actually a fun happenstance, possible only in the virtual realms of the internet π

Well, Ola could have been Oleg, friendly guy from a country a little bit to the east from ours, but Sam Vimes, that’s an icon of genre law enforcement π

One can never go wrong with dragons!
What would fantasy be without them, after all? π

Exactly! Though I like those four-legged and winged as well π I might draw one of those one day…
